Our ministries are carefully chosen based on the evaluation of need, opportunity, and resources/gifts. We believe God is at work in these endeavors as evidenced by spiritual growth as well as a spirit of love and fellowship in the truth.
We have separate Women's and Men's Studies that meet monthly. We focus on practical Christianity in the home and family and living for Him in the workplace and world.
We also have a Puritan Reading Group that meets monthly and with participation from people from a number of churches. Puritan writing is far more readable than many think, and the spiritual depth and warmth of the Puritans is increasing spiritual maturity in those who participate.
We have a Home School Co-op that presently offers music and art instruction, science experimentation, and educational field trips. The moms find that the opportunity for fellowship has been a help and support to them as they engage in this great work.
We are also piloting a Trail Life Troop (Troop 1689) that we intended to formally launch in the fall of 2025. If you are interested in the troop, contact us.
Most important is Weekly Lord's Day Fellowship. We believe that God has given us this one day in seven for holy use and the fellowship of God's people is one of the benefits of the Lord's Day. We have at least 90 minutes between our services to provide close fellowship. You will typically find that people are not in a hurry to leave even when the services are done for the day.
Our Annual Church Picnic is a time for fellowship both within our church and with folks from other churches. We also see this as an opportunity for those who are not Christians to see authentic practical Christianity in an informal context of recreation and relaxation.
Our Annual Church Campout is an especially rich and concentrated time of fellowship. For those who are not into camping, we also have opportunities for them to join us during the day to participate in the fellowship.
Our Pie-n-Praise is close to Thanksgiving and focuses our hearts and minds on God's goodness and wisdom and that we are to be "always rejoicing".
From time to time, we will schedule other social events such as game nights.
